"Han" means "Korean." Hanbok is Korean dress. Hangul is Korean written language. Hansik is Korean food. Koreans are fiercely proud of this "Han" concept. "Han Style" refers to Korean fashion, even though it is in the western sense. I'm using it in a non-specific sense, not really referring to fashion but just a general "this journal was started in Japan but now is being done in a more Korean style" sense. ^.^ Anyoung!
I graduated from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with a BA in Asian Studies and two minors in Math and Computer Science. In 2009, I spent the fall semester at Nagoya Gakkuin University in Nagoya, Japan studying Japanese. I then studied for 3 weeks at Sookmyung Women's University's International Summer School (SISS) program in August of 2010, going into my 4th year of college. Now, I am a KGSP scholar learning Korean at Jeonju University in preparation for my a masters program in Game Design at Konju National University. This is the promised "blog" of my adventures, so please enjoy.
